An Action Research Project About Emergent Heritage in Havanna and its surroundings
The collective intelligence that emerges from the collaboration and joint efforts of many individuals is a form of universally distributed knowledge. Collective intelligences strongly contribute to the shift of knowledge and power from the individual to the group, are constantly enhanced, coordinated in real-time and stimulate an effective mobilization of skills. They are the base of more sustainable and resilient societies, and one of the keys to rich the GSD goals targets.
With a joint research agenda on “sustainable building”, Cuba’s traditional, more climate-positive, non-standardized building and craft techniques, often displaced by external role models, will be collected, valorized and made digitally accessible in order to address sustainability goals in architectural education.
