Mariano Managò is an architect based in Berlin, Germany. Currently enrolled at the University of the Arts in Berlin, he worked in architecture studios in Madrid (José María Sanchéz García), Berlin (LIN Architekten Urbanisten) and Basel (Buchner Bründler Architekten). At the moment he is working at the chairs of Prof. Enrique Sobejano at UdK Berlin and Prof. Jacob van Rijs at TU Berlin. In his artistic practice as well as his architectural endeavors it is above all a poetic quality that he searches for, a sensory aspect to things. What characterizes his projects is a strong inclination to the archaic and fundamental, exploring the tactile qualities of spaces and materials.
