Dr.-Ing. Valdivia Steel, Lorena (Santiago CL). Architect Pontificia Universidad Católica (PUC). PHD (DAAD) in architectural theory at TU Berlin. With many years of experience as a research assistant and lecturer at the PUC and TU Berlin and as interim Professor of theory and history of architecture at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences (HSBO). The spectrum of their praxis ranges from regional construction practices to climate and heritage adapted construction methods. Experience in academic-participatory Design-Build projects, especially in Bolivia (bellavista.code.tu-berlin.de). Research team leader for “minimal sustainable architecture” (NaBaWo 2.0) at HSBO in cooperation with Ruhr University of Bochum. Researcher at the chair Prof. van Rijs TU Berlin. Collaborator in the Berlin office of "Blieske architects lighting designers". Scientific board member at “Scientists for Future”.
